Tembaletu School Sports Day and friends visit!

IMG_1129

On Tuesday, my friend Ashley, traveled here from Ireland to speak at a Christian Womans Conference. She spoke about the process of birthing the vision God has given you, and how you will go through seasons of stretching, preparation, and developing until its time for the vision to come into fruition. Ashley really broke it down and encouraged everyone to hold on to and pursue their God given assignment, no matter what may be going on around them. It was such a powerful and timely message for everyone.

On Thursday morning, she came to the office to join our team as we went to Tembaletu School. Tembaletu had an athletics day and it was beyond fun! We were there to help faciliate the day and cheer on the kids. We bowled.. we danced.. we laughed.. we played. The kids also had a crutches and wheelchair race. They are such an athletic, strong, and outgoing group of kids — true legends in my book!

Ashley’s friend Shawn from America came as well, and he is interested in doing the Hillsong internship for next year. He volunteered with us when we to Tembaletu, and he blended right in with the team! Shawn also served Sunday morning in Pastoral Care and with the new Christians team during the evening service. He doesn’t know a soul here, however he is giving it his all and jumping into any area that he has an opportunity to serve in. I love his dedication and heart. He is fully enthrawling himself, and I know that he would flourish here, if he joins us for the Year of My life program in 2014!

If you came to visit Cape Town – I’m sure you wouldn’t want to leave either! It was nice having Ashley and Shawn here, serving alongside with me. Its so encouraging to have friends who are passionate about God and are willing to give up there lives to pursue His best for them. Surrounding yourself with godly friendships is so important while pursuing Christ and His purpose for your life.

John 15:14-17 “You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. This is my command: Love each other.”

Love,

Juliette

A motivating discussion is worth comment. There’s undoubtedly that that
you need to write a little more about this subject matter, it
may possibly not be considered a taboo matter but typically people will not discuss such subjects.

    To the next! Best wishes!!

I was suggested this blog by my cousin. I’m uncertain whether this post is created by him as nobody else know such
detailed about my trouble. You’re incredible! Thanks!

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a
sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic
but I had to tell someone!

Can I just say what a relief to find someone who genuinely knows what they
are talking about on the web. You definitely realize
how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More and
more people really need to check this out and understand this side of the story.
I was surprised you aren’t more popular given that you certainly possess the
    gift.
